I just listed this cue on ebay, please go there to see more pics if you are interest, thank you.
In the late 1990s, Dave Kikel sponsored David Matlock in the Camel Pro Billiard Series. This is the cue that was made for David and the one he used throughout the Camel tournaments, as well as many others.
Kikel Custom Cue
African Blackwood and Maple
1 Butt with 6 points in the forearm and 3 shafts
58 ½” long 19 Oz. weight
12.2 mm Dia. at the Ferrules , 0.850” Dia. at the Joint, 1.210” Dia. at the Butt
Screw is a 3/8 – 10 square thread
I bought this cue from David Matlock sometime after the Camel Series ended. The cue has been refinished including a new wrap, real ivory ferrules, and a new set of joint protectors. This is a stunning cue with a beautiful combination of attractive woods. Unfortunately, the pics really can’t do the cue justice. If you live near Shooters in Olathe, KS, I would be glad to arrange a meeting so you could really see the cue.
Thank you.
