I just wanted to give a shoutout to Dave Kikel of Kikel Custom Cues.

I needed to have some work done on my Kikel cue, and I must say, it was a pleasure doing business with him. I am not the cues original owner, but when I called him to discuss the problem, he treated me like I had been a customer for years. I know recently a lot of cue makers have come under fire for poor customer service, long wait times, and changing prices, but Dave was nothing but a man of his word.

I definitely would not hesitate to order a cue from him, or do any type of business with him agian.

I'm the type of person who, when I see poor customer service reviews on here, or problems with other cue makers, I immediately check them off my list of people who I would choose to do business with. Customer service is extremely important to me, regardless of the name on the cue.

I just wanted to give Dave all the credit he deserves for being one of the good guys in this business, as there appears to be plenty that aren't.

If you're looking to have a cue built, or have any type of work done on your existing cue, I would highly recommend Dave Kikel. Aces all the way.

I too have heard nothing but good things about Dave Kikel, how he runs his business, & his workmanship. I think I know what my next custom cue will be.

Dave is old school where a man is only as good as his word. That sums up Dave Kikel.
I have a very expensive cue that he made for me, it got so much attention I thought it best to leave it in the vault. So I contacted Dave and told him about my dilemma and he laughed saying he had done the same years ago and learned his lesson. So I sent him some money for a deposit on a plain no nonsense cue. Well he and I got to talking and he wanted to make a cue with points and veneers and such and I felt myself beginning to get into another fancier cue than I wanted. So I told him we should leave it there for now , think things over and talk later. A couple days later I called left a message and he called me back the next day. After not being able to come to a mutual agreement I told Dave to keep some of my deposit for his troubles and send the balance back the next time he went to the post office. About five days later the agreed upon sum was returned. No problems ,No Bullshit. He is a man of his word, a great guy and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a cue. I did get a plain cue later from Joe Gold. Joe and Dave share a lot of the characteristics I admire they are both old school highly talented and master craftsmen in their vocations!

Yeah Dave Kikel is Awesome, I had a cue sent back to him to get rewrapped and refinished and it was extremely easy to do business with him. he is very nice and easy to talk, on top of that his cues look and play excellent. you can't go wrong with a Kikel cue thats for sure.

tap tap; never hit with one of his cues but would like too after reviewing all the positive comments. Good hear and good post when you have good guys in the biz !

Great reviews there guys.... I have had multiple customs (lambros, Scruggs, omen, josey, sly), and tons of production cues and finally fell upon this Kikel I have now with the intent too at likely trade to something else as I did in the past.

That said there is no going back, I love his cue, the hit, the balance, everything feels perfect. I had two Tiger Pro X shafts matched up to it and still have the two original shafts and this will now be my perminate player.

If you haven't hit with one of these cues you definetly need to.
