Kings Cup On Demand Stream

Well, it's now over 13 hours since Day 1 play ended. So a few minutes ago I logged in to check a couple things from the matches.

I found 3 "Launch Player" buttons for the replays.

1. The first one was titled "Match 1." It was actually a single game -- Game 5 of Match 6.

2. The second one was titled "Match 2." It loaded nothing, just giving me an "invalid request" message.

3. The third one was titled "Kings Cup Day One G1." This was the beginning introductions and all of Match 1.

I just refreshed my Authorized Content box, and items 1 and 2 above are now gone.

So Glad

I'm so glad that I didn't purchase this stream! Boy would I be pi$$ed for that kind of
quality. I think johnnyt may just be right on this one

GOOD NEWS everyone! The first 4 matches of Kings Cup on demand is ready! The remainder is being uploaded as we speak. Thank you so much for your patience. The rest of the matches of day 1 are coming consecutively. We are going to extend viewership for everyone till 11/23. There is the APEC summit and many world leaders including President Obama are here and it is impacting security and Internet and traffic. So it affected us as well. Kings Cup

I learned my lesson with the Queens Cup. The stream was not watchable, and was promised they would upload matches that we could watch and be assured we wouldn't miss any of the Matches...Well you guessed it, it never happened. I wanted to watch the Kings Cup, but I refused to watch anything CW puts on. A simple change to the audiovideoweb, like the top streamers would have solved the problem, as I never had any problem with any of the streams I bought, and I buy 90% of the streams out there, and try to support Pool, but I won't support anything by CW.

The replay is working now, BUT I had to double check my macbook wasn't actually a commadore 64.. lol

resolution is pretty terrible

EDIT: it only worked for about 3 shots then frozen. Pretty disappointed and NO response from 2 PM's about a refund.

payouts ?

PRIZEMONEY: To be advised by Dargon Promotions (Previous Queens Cup was all expenses paid but $0 prizemoney for winners). I hope Dragon Promotions pay these champions something........................................................................................................................someone asked yesterday somewhere what the payouts were: This is an article I have seen posted here on an azbilliards posted somewhere......Could this be true ? The winners get all expenses paid, but 0 Dollars Prize Money...I can't prove this, only sharing what I read on here

So its Obama's fault. Well everything is but shouldn't that be in non pool related?

The stream apparently was down for everyone (or at least many?) for today's final match -- SVB vs. Ko Pin-Yi singles.

I sent a PM to koreandragon (Jessica) asking them to give first attention to that match when they upload today's matches for On Demand viewing.

Damn you guys are harsh lol. I didn't realize the expectations were so high for pool streams these days. I would pay $25 to watch the match in shitty quality 2 days later. I'm watching the first match now which is great quality... I wasn't expecting to be able to see the pool table the way everyone was describing it.

If you all would NOT buy PPV's like CW's that are shit each time, either it would get fixed, be free shit, or just not have PPV for what they can't do right. Keep buying...keep getting more shit. Really that simple. Johnnyt

I would like to disagree but I can't...
The sooner poor streaming stops the more attractive pool will become.
The existence of a poor stream is showcasing pool just as much as a good stream showcases pool.
What happens when the viewer sees something they dislike? They switch off and never return.
Poor streaming of events is just as guilty of F%$KING things up for pool as poor promoters or poor sportsmanship.

I simply refuse to pay for something I haven't seen.
Call me stupid

And sucker attitudes like that is why their product and shitty customer support and reputation don't improve.

You're right, I'll deprive myself of watching a tournament everyone wants to see, keep my $25 life savings, all in the hopes that the lack of return on their investment into the shitty stream inspires them to put even more money and effort into it. That'll show'em! And all of this assuming if I suffer and don't get to see the tournament, that everyone else will follow my lead and refrain from purchasing.

Clearly, everything else in the pool industry is booming with success and the products and services are top notch among other industries. Let's all leave azbilliards right now and hold our breath while they expand their resources and invest in creating a site that isn't utterly laughable, given it's "the" billiards site.

If you guys truly believe taking an already small demographic and reducing it to none is going to generate the motivation and money to move the pool industry forward, then it's more clear than ever why the stream is shitty in today's age.

Oh, almost forgot, that was hilarious whoever suggested not paying for the stream might cause them to offer it for free. Lmao

Knock it off with the warm regards and reply to my PM(s)
I've paid for the PPV and have yet to be able to watch 3 balls being pocketed. Customer service where are you? This is unacceptable.

Does anyone have more than the first 3 matches of Day 1 available on demand? That's all I've got. It has been over 33 hours since the Day 1 matches ended and over 8 hours since the Day 2 matches ended.

That's all I see as well. I've given up on it.

Mainly for the streaming issues, but also because the players are playing like it's an exhibition that doesn't mean much.

Is it true that there is no prize money? The players were paid to show up with only a cup to play for? Because they're playing like there's nothing on the line.

I'd rather watch Morris and Archer play for $1000

All I can get is one single game from the first day.. That's it

I have fibre optics. Only had issues a few times with all the streams I've bought but I've always had customer service before to make things right, not this time unfortunately

,,,

I haven't gotten that impression. Did you see how determined/serious Efren was today in his singles match against Immonen? Are we wrong to attribute some of the errors by many of the players to nerves? I don't know. But, yes, it would be nice if we knew what the prize money is.
