I watched this tape last night and i can't get my head around the things that were said!

How can you aim straight in on a shot that has a 3/4 ball contact?

I've yet to try this out but i'm very skeptical that it would work.

Has anyone else seen this tape?

Seen it.

Why wonder/be skeptical when you can just try it for yourself and see? It doesn't really matter if others tell you it works or doesn't work, only if it works for YOU.

No I haven't, but I am assuming its a throw shot. Put a little side on the cue ball and it will throw the object ball into the pocket. By doing this you can play a stop shot even if you have a 3/4 angle.

No, not what is being said at all. Has to do with aiming straight at a ball on long hard shots and it goes in anyway, perhaps due to subconscious aiming adjustments, tricks your mind plays on you, something to do with your eyes, blah blah blah.

Why knock it before you try it? My opinion? It was advantageous information for me. I dont know if it works on a 7ft table, I never tried. I know it works on big tables. There were some amazed onlookers the other day when I was practicing on a 5X10 and fired in 5 long shots in row, using inside english, with enough juice on whitey to bring him back to the center of the table. Was I skeptical at first? Yes. Am I glad I spent some time giving it a fair shot? Yes. If it doesn't work for anyone else sorry, it does for me and you wont be able to convince me otherwise.
 
I wasn't knocking anything.

I've found Bert's tapes well worth the money.

I said i was skeptical as it goes against everything i know.

I will be trying it tonight but it'll be on a 6x12 with tight pockets.

Am sure it does work for some and not for others.
