I can,t get over how many people seem to under estimate Kirkwood's game.

I recently watched kirkwood play on our tripple shimmed 9ft diamond table. He ran rack after rack it was truely sick.... I mean this our "tough" onepocket table with 4 inch pockets....... I really gained alot more respect for him, he really is an animal...

And why does Shane need to give Jason weight?

I am reminded of a story in Buddy's book about him and Rempe matching up for $25000 in a ten ahead match. Buddy ran six racks out of the gate and came up dry. Rempe ran out and came up dry on his break. Buddy ran five racks and won. Table time was like $1.67.

I don't really consider it getting destroyed when a player wins a short ahead set like this very quickly. It's the way it goes when one player gets on fire from the beginning and things go your way.

Kirkwood is definitely a stone cold killer but things would have probably gone the other way if he had played alternate breaks.

I don't know if anybody else does this but I came up with a good format a few years ago that I have played a few time.

I like to post up 20 game's worth and agree to play 20 games with the agreement that we adjust after those 20 games. If we are playing $50 a game then it gives each player a shot at $2000 and is not a race. The only real downside is if a player is 10 games down at the middle point then they can only get even at best. Anyway, it's a slightly different way to match up and offers a way to freeze the money - or at least to make a slushee out of it.

U shouldnt offer that game for Shane because im sure if you ask him he will NOT spot Jason that game. SVB knows Kirkwood ask him what he would spot trust me it would be even. Shane has the edge on the 9ft i like Kirkwood on the box. But hey if you get that game going i have cash on Jason let me know:D :D

:D :D Your not making sense if you are that close to shane then u know he and Jason, and Chris B took down the Colorado tourney right before vegas. SVB did not want to match up also at the Derby they were both in action it was thrown out there to SVB to play Kirkwood with the 9 ball in 10 ball and no game happend. But wait they are both in Vegas now that would be great for TAR bar table 9 ball race to 50 or whatever. I will say this SVB will play anyone in the world trhat has been proven but he does not spot everyone either. I will contact Behnke that is SVB road dog now and see what spot he will give

Jason is a true killer on the table for the cash.

Seems to me ...

that it was people 'over-estimating' Morra's game, rather than 'under-estimating' Kirkwood's game.

G-peezy

Thats funny:D did you hear he just took 1st in the Grand masters division at the BCA. That makes it 5 for 5 the last 5 tourneys he played in he won not to shabby:D
