You know for all the Zinzola's, and the Gracios, and all the guys you hear *****ing about, let me tell you bout this guy in Roanoke Texas. His name is Steve Klein, he has been making cues for some time now. He can make the best looking traditional cues, he can make modern style cues, he can make pretty much whatever you want, and if he can't get it on CAD, I can. We have been working with Steve now for a few years and as with every relationship there is a process of learning, and I think its fair to say that we have been learning together.
All I can say is I have not met many finer gentleman, and few as admirable as Steve. He is an ACA officer, and a true craftsman.
So I will post a few of our Kleins here and if you have any, you can post them here as well...

You can go to his site... http://www.kleincues.com/

Or Stop by Booth 352 at the 2014 SBE where I'll be hanging out this year. (Like last year)

Some more...

BTW Steve cuts his own slotted diamonds, this is why his traditional cues really carry, IMHO. The last picture is how the Mosconi Bushka center section should look. Cuemakers miss the fact that the dots are NOT centered radially but close to the diamonds leaving a space between the dots. We were going to have Steve make his version, however I absolutely saw many tributes coming, so we nixed that idea.

Steve is an incredible cuemaker and person. He definitely is fun to talk cues with. I really need to stop by his shop again soon. Here are some crappy pictures of an awesome conversion he did for me:

Steve's Cameo cue is just an absolutely amazingly handsome cue......there are two in the photo
that are exquisite as well....and Klein's Texas George Cue was a real head turner.....he's does
such remarkably appealing designs....his cues just have the right components that seem to click.

i cant wait.. i spent hours talking last year before i ever bought one of his cues.. now i will have 2... (first cue in this thread, next to the cameo propeller cue. )

2 on the way

One is a titlist Hoppe the other is a Paradise / Palmer House conversion. I found an unreal Wenge blank from the 20's that just screamed convert me. The blue and copper 1960's acrylic/polyester will look great on this cue.

Hey

Last year Steve did a beautiful job on refurbing one of my Fedunkas. During that time I spent talking to Steve, I learned pretty quickly what an honest, talented guy he was.....

I also ordered a matching pair of cues from Steve. A 6 and an 8 pointer.
THEY WILL BE AT STEVE'S BOOTH...COME DOWN AND CHECK THEM OUT.
