Know what I miss...(besides the money ball)???

[Thunderball]

All those threads with the cuetable saying "what would you do here?" or "how would you play this?".

They were a regular for a while and I found both the intial question as well as the replies very useful.

I'm pretty bad at the using the cuetable site (my own fault for not putting in some time) but those threads really get to the core of the game imo.

Anybody else agree we could use more of those threads?

We're on the 36th such thread in the straight pool forum... but then you have to be talking about straight pool, not 9 ball.

Thanks Dan....

I have found one straight pool player in my town.He seems proficeint and willing to school me a bit.I have his number saved to my phone but we have not worked out a time or place yet.I like the game though...but if this guy is an example (an accidental one I would say)...nobody near here plays the game.

Edited to add that I may have hijacked my own dam thread lol.

8ball,9ball whatever...I got a lot out of those threads.I'd like to see more of them.
