Where is the best place to play in Knoxville?
Big tables with simonis and clean balls preferred.

That is a great resource for NONPOOLPLAYERS.

I dont care if they have good service, or good food.

I want to know about where the best tables are and were the PLAYERS go.

Thanx for the response anyway (even though you kinda sounded like a jerk) i appreciate the time you took to share your thoughts.

try goplaypool.com

hey that's what goplaypool is all about. Go to goplaypool.com and click on map, it'll tell you where to play in most areas...

p.s. I knew a couple of places although finding ninefooters that aren't buckets are a little difficult, but I can't remember the name of the places now. It's been too many years since I was in knoxville....

Sorry

Much thanx... that is more helpful than a yellowpages reference.

Anyone know first hand?

I've heard most rooms have been closed down the last few years on account of the city's nuisance laws, except Bailey's and Knoxville Billiard Club. Wish I had better news...maybe someone else will chime in with another option.

KBC is off of Chapman HWY... usually you can find a 1pocket game for something any day or time... 1 Antique trick 9' Brunswick and 2 9' Diamonds.... The others are a mix and match of bar boxes and Gandys I think.... Food is good but it's not a place to go on a date.. Mainly hard core pool players and kids learning.... DRY

Baileys is in 7oaks Shopping Center mix of 8over and 9' A.E. Schmidts with Simonis is a little warn and some of the ball sets are worn out but the 9'ers on the left hand side don't have buckets but they are bigger than 4.5"... League nights most nights and tuesday is Masters division which brings out most of the better players in town...... LIQUOR

Rack & Run - Off of Kingston Pike behind Grayson Pontiac/BMW All bar boxes for now.... Decent weekend tournaments... Decent barbox action if you just ask..... BEER

I can hook you up with some sparring partners at Bailey's from practice to a few hundred a set depending on the game really hard to steer without knowing someone's game....

Sad, but true. This is about it for Knoxville. Our sorry ass local law enforcement shut down the best place for no good reason at all and this is what's left.

I'm sure you can get a little action in Ktown if that's what you're looking for. Table #5 at Bailey's is a pretty good table to gamble on, it's not a Diamond but it's not a pushover either.

Thanks for your military service.
