Kress router

i would also think that the 800W would be plenty for cues too.i have an NSK and it is only 350W total power, but it can take huge cuts with no problems at all.we cut some shafts from 1" to .960" and .600" and the load meter on the controller never left the first mark.

Hey Joey, did you have to modify the plug? Looks like plug is for the UK.

thanks, Jim.
Yes, I went to Orvac locally. Stripped the wire and used a 3-prong heavy duty plug.

Glad to hear You finally got one, I remember talking about them several times. Are they really that much more precise like was previously thought. $200 is a much better price though, heck a standard trim router can cost near half of that or more anyhow. Maybe soon I'll finally be able to get one too, now that the price has come down. Also, have you found any sources for bearings and brushes to put away for the future? Seems like I remember someone having a Kress one time, and asking me if I knew where to get the parts to rebuild.

It runs much smoother than Ryobi. :D
If DZ can do inlays with it, it's good enough for me.

Since you had to change the plug does the router run on 110 or 220 voltage? I see the label above says 110 on DZ's post.
