JIMBO, tell us what you really think  LOL

I can only tell you folks that the conversion cue I had Scott make for me is FANTASTIC in all respects .... period

He makes a GREAT CUE! :)

I always do!
My point and I guess it's one most of the posters seem to miss is that

1) Everyone has a different opinion as to what a good playing cue is, what's great to one sucks for another, *Hit is subjective* Yet everyone either feels a need to ask how the hit is or post how they feel it hits.

2) It's always added to a post when the person is trying to convince us what a great cue they have.

3) it's a most on all posts made right before the cue is up for sale.

4) Everyone loves their new cue, how bout play with it for 3 months and get back to us, don't hit 2 racks the day you get it and brag about it, like it's the second coming.

Jim <---Hit is subjective so you telling me how *YOU* feel the hit is would just be meaningless.

PS I also have a problem with you telling me what a great cue he makes, the only people I trust when it comes to opinions on how the cue is made are those who also come here and have the balls to say So and So makes a crappy cue.

Now this is something I know I have been guilty of.

So true, so true.

Everything is somewhat subjective

My feeling is that everything about a cue is somewhat subjective.

Heck, I love TS cues but, I had one not to long ago that I really didn't like the way it hit or played. I had a DP cue with a Uniloc joint that I didn't like the way it played either -- looked fantastic -- but, I just didn't like the way the cue felt. I could say the same about a bunch of other cues ( which I don't own anymore  ) but, that was not the point of my post.

Personally, I think Scott Whisler makes a GREAT cue -- at least my conversion cue is a SWEET example of his work -- which leads me to believe he would be a good choice for anyone looking to have a custom cue made to their specifications.
