Lambros Contact?

Hello. I'm wondering if anyone has been able to contact Mike Lambros recently regarding custom cues. The last time I spoke to him was in March of this year and he thought my cue would be completed in two weeks (original deposit sent in December of 2023). However, I haven't been able to contact him since. I tried the phone number and email listed on his website, but no response. I have been using those contacts in the past to get in touch with him. He has always been great to talk to on the phone and would go into a lot of detail about his new cue designs, which was great to hear directly from him. I'm not looking to complain as I expected it would take quite some time to receive the cue. I'm just hoping to find a way to get in touch with him and make sure everything is still in progress and what is the estimated date of completion. If anyone has had success contacting him recently, please let me know.

99.9% he’s ghosting you because the cue is not ready. The contact info you have I’d bet large is still good.

I hope that's all it is. I still haven't been able to reach him. I've heard that there's usually delays, but with no communication it is making me question if it will be completed.

If you can connect with him you deserve the pool gold medal. I had one of his cues and tried for months to reach him. good luck.

when will they learn when will they ever learn... peter paul and mary song..

they will never learn. keep sending money to these makers that are idolized that work out of their homes or wherever that never complete work and keep your deposits. and don't communicate because they are embarrassed they never get anything done or they are thieves that live off deposits knowing they can never complete all the work they have.

oh yea two weeks. 4 months later wont answer your requests.

a truly great maker can make all the cues he wants and sell them immediately anytime so doesn't need a big deposit.
if a maker wants a big deposit there are just a few reasons why and none of them are good for you.

in most states if a contractor of goods takes a deposit and doesn't follow through it is called fraud and they prosecute.

There are plenty of descent cues out there, i would never go to a custom cue maker unless he lives next door to me too many thieves around.
Aside from regular problems with “cue maker time” the quality of production cues is very good. I admire some of the customs, but the ones I had I just didn’t love. The ones that I admire I can’t seem to get comfortable with the cost. And if I pulled the trigger on something too expensive I might not be willing to play with it. Maybe I’ll get over it and get another. But probably not.

I like many of the production cues as well. My reason to go with a custom cue was more sentimental. I first learned to play pool with a Lambros sneaky Pete and it was always my favorite cue. I finally could afford a nicer one and the initial phone conversations were very thorough. I was hoping others on this forum might have had more luck recently with contacting him and things were just being delayed. I'll update the thread if I have any luck.
