Mike did an excellent job building this cue for me
Delivery time was just as promised
Workmanship is some of the very best
Shafts are superb, as is the finish, point and veneer work and linen wrap
AND A SUPERB PLAYING CUE
Curly maple with 5 points of figured Bubinga and 5 colored veneers
Mikes triple ring design and white phenolic butt cap and collars
Cue has Mikes Patented Ultra Joint too

What a freakin bad ass cue.
I didn't know cues could be so bad ass.
I bet you're going to kill everyone in the next couple tourneys.
I can see you running rack after rack after rack.
I am afraid to play you now.
I couldn't stand a chance before, now I'm really f'ed.
That cue just emanates fear and domination.
I haven't seen a lotta bubinga cues either.
This is a quality gem.
I bet you put this under your pillow at night.

It's time for me to go now, I hope you know I'm jealous as hell.

You bastard.

No, seriously, good score, dude. I can't wait see it. I'll be up there after church.

Duane practices with this cue several times a week. Stop by and see it scare the balls into the pockets of a GCII. Makes Duane grin! Gene and Reene La Viness(Crown Cues) could be practicing on a 7' Valley close to Duane so you could see Gene's beautiful craftmanship also. We will be celebrating 43 years in this same location on October 24, 2009 so drop by for "remember whens". Have a wonderfull day.

Hey, Mr. Ken Ken!!

You should add a link to your website under all that. It's at http://www.jespiddlin.net/qspot/

(And, your webmaster should work on posting a note about the 43 years, too. I'll try to get that done after we get home from league, tonight.)

Lambros Cue

Wow...one of the nicest from Lambros I've seen. They're very rare and I've only hit a few balls with an older one...just after the Ultra-joint was introduced....and after the shaft had obviously been reworked. My question is did you go with the standard Lambros shaft taper? If so, can you give me it's playing (stiffness/hit) and shaft taper characteristics...perhaps comparing it to a typical 10-12 " pro taper?

The taper is stiff, but you dont notice because of the excellent playability,
requires very little effort to make your shot and move/control the cue ball.
I dont know about comparisons though, because , at least to me the cue is alot more than the shaft , With the ultra-joint factored in, The cue is in a class of its own regarding hit, feel and playability...Unlimited power with this cue...It Also breaks GREAT!
