Laquer Finish

How still does lacquer finishes? I have a vintage cue I need restored

I am certain that you were trying to say, who still will do a lacquer finish.

My question is what type of cue are we talking about?

Thanks

it is a old Scruggs cue, I was assuming by the extensive weather checking on the butt sleeve that it is not a automotive finish

Have you tried contacting Mr. Scruggs. I can't say that I've see one of his cues with lacquer on it.

I completely agree with Mike Webb, I would doubt that Scruggs used laquer for his finish. Is the cue Yellow like the old Muecci cues?

Timmy made cues as far back as 1975-ish
In those days, the finish was laq for sure.
