Large favor I owe cuemaker Chuck Starkey

TAP, TAP, TAP Mr. Wilson!!!
Purdman

I am afraid this forum would turn into something like that scumbag SoCal forum. If ya want to talk crap, go there! They eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner!!

the poster may very well be crazy, but i think his post is legit....

lets be honest, if this happened to any one of you, you would be pissed about it. i know i would. getting your money back doesnt mean a deal was settled well, it just means a guy gave your money back for crap work.

Sheesh.

I am giving you a week long vaccation from the stresses of dealing with the board. If upon your return you cannot play nice, it will be made permanent, as per our previous discussion.

Dave

I for one am hoping it becomes permanent.

Ok?

Dave,

It's just amazing isn't it on how many people will push the limits. Good job banning Dhakala for a week. He really went off the deep end!

Dhakala, I know you are reading this, so when you come back please play nice:D

have you even read the thread?

a quick summary:

1) buys cue
2) sends cue back due to handle being discolored
3) gets full refund
4) buys cue AGAIN on ebay
5) gives the cue and seller a good rating
6) has an anoynmous "master cuemaker" rework the handle
7) sends cue back due to shaft not being the right type, a tiger instead of a predator, and not only gets a full refund on the cue but also on the work that was done by the "master cuemaker"
8) writes up several posts on several billiard sites

most of us would have stopped at step 3 no?

He got his money back, all of it. What more can a seller do to make it right?
Old Phlem got what he deserved.

I'm pleased with the way things are working out:

1. The cue got healed.LMAO

2. Chuck Starkey, who made the disfigured cue, paid for its healing. Whether its disfigured or not is not a fact but a matter of opinion. Some might say that the cue was unique! The tree managed to live and grow with this 'defect', why couldn't you?;)

3. Chuck Starkey's incompetence and dishonesty is exposed in this, one of the 100 most-read threads in AZB history. You got your money back, quite whining. Do I detect a little vanity here Mr Zen Buddhist?

Dhakala [ after getting his ass whipped by Jay:D ,]
" My cue maker used the wrong glue when he replaced my tip yesterday and as a result, the flow of chi was blocked.
Add to that the fact that I dropped the shaft and dented it , totally destroying its perfection and you can see that a good performance from me was impossible.
When I didn't make the 9ball on the snap every time, I knew something was wrong.
I will recover my losses by suing the club owner. How can I be asked to perform on a tale with used- thus imperfect- cloth! "

Gabber:D :D

BTW, buying the Q the second time to 'heal it' is total BS and we all know it.
