One of our greatest players and long time warrior has contracted a terminal illness. Larry Liscotti is in the hospital fighting a tough battle as these words are being typed.
I spoke with Larry yesterday and he's doing as well as can be expected under the circumstances. He was even a little jovial in spite of the medication.
I'm sure he'd love to hear from old friends so cards or letters can be sent to his friend who will be sure to get them to Larry.

Sorry to hear the bad news, he was a fine player, my prayers are with him and I am sure everyone else on the board will join in as well.

Larry is a terrific player and may the good Lord be with him. Thanks for letting us know Grady.

Our family's thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Larry. God Bless and keep you.

I talked with Larry a couple of hours ago. Considering what he's going through, he is trying to stay positive.

I'm sorry to hear about Larry's illness, I had heard some time ago that he was not feeling well, he's always had a positive attitude about life in general. I've observed him many time in the past watching him and he always struck me as a person that was fearless about anyone he played, and a great personality to boot.
He certainly good light up a room when he walked into it, I want to wish Larry and his family all the best!

I had just heard on Saturday from an old friend of larry's that he wasn't feeling well, man does bad news travel fast. Another of the great colorful characters of our sport, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
