Larry Vigus...Koa/Ebony

Here's a new one from Larry(63Kcode), a great 60" wrap-less 6 pointer with Koa into Ebony. Ivory sleeved over Ebony joint, Koa handle into ebony rear, ivory ring and a stainless steel end cap. 2 shafts @12.8 with 1/2 ivory ferrules...man this thing "sings like Whitney."

I tried the cue as stated above...then...put in the weight bolt and the bumper on,...and immediately went back to the original setup :grin-square: There's something to be said about not having a weight bolt in a cue, or a bumper on a cue. The sound of the the hit and feel is definitely different, for me in a positive manner. I understand everyone has their own opinion on these matters, but I'm sold on it. This cue really does work well for me.

What impressed me just as much is the wood. The ebony shows no grain at all, where as the Koa has a crazy chatoyancy and great grain patterns. There's a really neat knot in the handle showing much depth and tone.
This cue was pretty hard to photograph, and needs to be seen in person to truly appreciate...

Thanks again Larry for delivering this cue to me in Tunica. A real treat shooting not only a few games with you, but the fat as well...
You make a fine cue buddy!
Clint

Hope y'all enjoy the pics :) All comments welcome...

Beautiful cue Clint...

Super clean player. Love that bumperless look and sound.

Enjoy,
Chris

Thank you Chris. I now understand the whole bumperless thing... This cue hasn't seen the closet yet :grin-square:, and might not ever LOL...
