After two weeks I've tested the Laser Rack (http://www.laser-racks.com) I have to say I'm impressed. When I first heard about this I figured this was just another gimmicy rack. But after testing I had other ideas.....

If there are any questions on how this rack would hold up to the beating and banging of the life called pool then I say yes. Here is a close up of the rack, showing where the lasers are installed (pic just shows 2 of the 3).

We got lucky and put our spot in the right spot atleast with it lined up with the middle diamonds on the table so when we rack a set of balls, then front laser is DEAD ON. Here's a pic where I put a ball in front of the middle diamond (from the breakers side of the table) and you can see where the laser showed up. DEAD ON. I've never taken pics of lasers so alot of the time the lasers disappeared with the flash on, so I have many more pics to post.

We also tested it on dropping it today to test the sturdiness of the rack. We dropped it twice from the top of the table to the hard floor of our gameroom (it has carpet, but its very thin). Each time it stayed in one piece with nothing broke, and each time the laser came back dead on. When you buy the Laser Rack, it comes with little red stickers to stick on the rail to line the diamonds up with the laser but you could use anything. Like others have said on the boards, how can you know its dead on with the middle diamonds to your left and right? Thats easy if you use the stickers. Each laser should hit the middle of the stickers and you know you are dead on or as close as you can be. This rack can be used without a spot or even lines drawn on the felt, etc. We have played 14.1, Rotation, 8Ball, and 9Ball so far with this rack with no problems. I'll post more next week with more pictures using the stickers Abe provided with the Laser Rack.
