For those of my friends who will be driving to SBE 2009

On the PA turnpike. The turnpike commission just increased the tolls. Here is a link to find out what to expect in those costs.

If you find your self coming thru Carlisle exit, A new Rutter's Gas station just opened and it is a short distance from the interchange toward Carlisle. I purchased regular gas for $1.69 per gallon last evening. Diesel was $2.13 per gallon. The Toll total will be the same no extra cost for getting on and off.

Have a great time.

I'm confused.... You are going to jump in the car and drive up. Then, you have a ride home on Sunday. What are you going to do with the car? Or, are you talking about jumping in a rental car?

Should have been a bit clearer. The $ 130.00 noted in my last post was
a 1 way airfare ticket. I may take that route because the PA turnpike
charges would be $ 25.00 each way. When you take into consideratioin
gas and drive time, I think that flying is the way to go. Thanks for the
heads up on the toll charges Jeeves!

Sounds like gasoline is similar to here, right now. I hope it stays down.

Thanks for the toll info. Where's the best place to get the most accurate weather reports for that area?? Any clue what is expected, as of right now? We drove up through a horrible ice storm, in 2007.

Seeing who participated...

For those of you who might not know how to see who selected which choices in the poll, click on one of the numbers to the right of the colored bars and it will open a page that shows you who will be at the Expo and what they're planning on doing, there. You can print that out and use it as a guide for who you plan to meet and where you might find them, while you're there.

I know there are quite a few others going, who haven't checked in, yet. Hopefully, they'll check in, soon.

actually gasoline prices in harrisburg are.....

Generally arounf $2.00 per gallon that is why I suggested the Carlisle location to save thirty cents a gallon makes sense to get off then back on.

You are a treasure to be appreciated, for sure!! That's a lot of money to save! Is it that much cheaper on a regular basis, or just right now?

Any chance you're associated with that gas station that wants so many AZers to stop in and save/spend so much of their money on their way through???? :):) If so, speak up, so we know we SHOULD stop by on our way through, not just need to try, if we can.

Also, is that gas station open around the clock, in case we come through late at night??

Anybody else?

Y'all be sure to check in at our booth. I can keep a daily AZers sign-in sheet for a list of those who made it there and any identifying items that will help us find each other.... red shirt with 8 ball on it, white cap with Smorg Underlings Badge on it, AZ Billiards keyring on cue case, booth number, etc..

I KNOW there are more than 46 people from the forum who are going to the Expo... Y'all help us get the everyone to come do the poll, so we can have a record that is printable.

~~Justis Cases~~

We open on Thursday......booth #60 upstairs in the Cuemakers section.

Identify yourself as an AZ'er and get a free leather shaft burnisher

Thanks for the bump. I wasn't online much this weekend and didn't see this thread until today. Looking forward to meeting you!

I have been out of town on business and not online at all, but I will be there Thursday watching and buying. It is always the most looked forward to day of the year for me.

So, now that we're less than 2 weeks from the Expo dates, who is going? Why?

I don't even know when it is, when I'm going ,or why I would be going.

Fred <~~~ can't remember what time zone I'm in

i'll be manning the PoolTees booth, downstairs right next to "the pit". stop by and say hi everyone.

See you all there. I will be there on Friday. Goals are to pick up my Lomax jump/break cue, search for a nice light case that's a little more portable than my prized Justis, and watch some pro matches upstairs and action downstairs.

No playing for me, for some reason I can't run 3 balls on the small tables!
