Lets post up who looks in and who is battling for 3rd in the groups:

Looks like Varner, Archer, and Harriman in group 41.
Looks like Boyes, Gallego, and Hsia for Group 42.
looks like Orcollo, Juva, and Dominguez for Group 43 (Daulton is out).
Looks like Petroni, Melling, and Efren if he wins last match, otherwise
it will be Davenport for group 44.
Group 45 is McKenna, Kaplan, and whoever wins between Souquet & Holtr.
Group 46 is Hundal, Lohtander probably, and whoever wins between Stalev and Beaufils.
Group 47 is Jungo, Morris, and probably Sambojan.
Group 48 is Breedlove, Davis, and probably Peach even if he loses last match.
someone else pick it up.

All I know is my favourites need bigtime help to advance, that is Wu. Strickland, and Manalo.

Looks like Jasmin is the only lady with a realistic shot at round 3

Actually, I don't believe Jasmin can do it by virtue of the difference in %'s. Allison Fisher has a small chance though.

Hsia ,West and Manalo are all mathematically still alive in group 42, although Manalo needs to win and some serious help from others.
Ouschan can possible finish in a four way tie with 3 wins a player.Trouble being is that she has the lowest win percentage out of those 4 winners. If she wins 8-0 or 8-1 ,then possibly there is a sliver of hope. It's not looking to good for her.Allison Fisher needs to win her last match and hope that Reyes and Davenport both lose. Not looking to good for her either.

Wu and Strickland are already toast and Manalo as mentioned is hanging on by the slimmest of hope.

46 is ugly. Raj is in. The winner between Stalev and Beaufils is probably in. If Lohtander can beat the winless Eckert then he should advance.

47: Rodney and Jungo look good. Matlock and Santos are 2-2. Matlock plays Okumura and Santos plays Ellerby and Santos has a better win %.

48: Breedlove and Mike Davis look good. Michael Schmidt and Darryl Peach are 2-2. Peach plays Breedlove and Schmidt plays Incardona. Advantage Schmidt.

49: Davies and Alcaide look good. Bryant and Schmidt are fighting for 3rd. Bryant plays Jahnke and Schmidt plays Davies. Schmidt has the better win % so he needs to beat Davies or cheer for Jahnke.

50: Appleton is in. Rico is most likely in. Lely is currently in 3rd but he plays Appleton last. If Hybler can beat Wiseman, he could take 3rd place.

Group 46 has a lot of different possiblities as Stalev Beaufils,Lohtander and Potier are all fighting for the final two spots with two wins apiece.

The winner between Stalev and Beaufils is in for sure.
Potier with the lowest winning percentage has the toughest fight. He must beat Hundal who is 4-0 and hope Lohtander loses to Echart 0-4.

Group 47 will see Jungo and Morris advance.
Matlock must beat Okumura to advance and hope that Ellerby beats Sambajon.

Group 48
Davis is in.
Peach must beat Breedlove and he is guaranteed
Schmidt must beat Incardonia and hope Peach loses.
If Schmidt wins 8-0 or something and peach wins 8-7,perhaps he can catch him mathemaically in a tie breaker, but I doubt it.
Peach wins all other tie breakers because of percentage.

Group 49

Davies and Alcaide are in.
Byrant ,Janke and Schmidt all have mathematical possiblities.
Janke has the slimmest chance because he must beat Byrant and hope Schmidt loses.Percentage points also factor in.

Group 50

Appleton and Diks are in
Lely ,Hybler and Groce still have a chance.
If Lely wins he's uncatchable.
Hybler needs to win and have Lely lose and even then it might be close percentage wise.
Groce needs to win big 8-0 or something and have both Lely and Hybler badly lose.Even if this improbale scenario plays out, Groce still might not have enough percentage wise.

Group 51

Tot and Kirkwood are in.
Younger and Acano still have a chance.
If Alcano beats Tot he is in for sure because of percentage points.
Younger needs to win and see Alcano lose.

Group 52

Bustamante and Vandenburg are in.
Chu must beat Nunan to survive a percentage point tie breaker.

Group 53
Robles and Majid are in.
The winner between Pagulayan and Facquet will also advance.

Group 54
Immonen ,Parica and Cohan are all allready in.

Group 55
Owen,Kazou and Lining are allready in.

Group 56
Engert and Feijen are in

Hann must beat Sigel to win as he will have him in a percentage points tiebreaker.

Group 57
Hill and Nevel are in
The winner between Runnels and walden also advances.

Group 58
Drago and Shaw are in
Zimmerman can get in if he beats the 4-0 Shaw.
If Zimmerman loses Luat advances in a three way tie with Zimmerman and Kennedy because of percentage points.

Group 59
Ortmann,Moore and Miller are all in

Group 60
Deuel and Montal are in.
The winner between Sal Butera and Williams advances.

Yes, we knew Drago had to beat Luat and when it did, it looked like all the planets were lining up. Mike had to beat Shaw. At 5-5, Mike came up with a scratch on his break and then Jayson ran a 2. Shaw came up dry but left a double ugly table. Mike got to the last ball and got hooked. BIH to Shaw for the set. :(

Mike Z is proving that he belongs, but who is this 5-0 Shaw guy?
Stan James had him rated as a lonshot 500-1.He sure is having a great tournament.Do you really like his game,or is he just having the tourney of his life?
