The 4 armed mutants have no concetration level, they win more simply because they can play on 2 tables at once... :o :confused: :D

I came into it late, I didnt get to read the Cunning words Marissa spoke, but It was heated on both sides (or were there 3 sides?) it was like a rumble... I was replying as the thread was being deleted... I felt like I got hit by a stray blow trying to break things up..

Jake, you know that was my first instinct and then thought it is a good thing. What I can't stand is when someone says things like that and 90% of the board has no idea. Back to sweetness and nothing to prove otherwise.

Last night was a real eye opener for many and IMO, should not be forgotten.

Not to mention I really don't believe for a second that this was vagabond's intention.

Well ...

I am an Air sign that is pouring water, so I don't know where
that will leave me.... lol But, if fingers are going to be pointed,
I think more than 1 finger is needed. After reading the first post
in this thread, I thought much more had taken place after I signed
off, so I went to my personal email to read replies, and surprise,
no more than what I had read earlier had taken place, so I was
up on everything. I think it is just best to forget about it, and
try to do better in the future, and stick to topic, Pool topics.

This thread is becoming extremely irritating to those of us who missed the thread. A simple synopsis with names and general positions would be very informative, and appreciated by those of us who generally read EVERY post eventually. This is not instigation, it is a simple reporting of what occurred - those members placed the posts, they should not be offended if someone reads them or hears about them (after all, it was the moderator that deleted the thread, not the posters). Their reputations should depend on their postings, and should not be "saved" by the discretion of the moderator.

P.S. - and please no earth/fire/water references; just tell us what the heck happened. Many thanks.

Basic gist Willie, is that Marissa called Barbara a c*nt and holy war broke out. Some very well respected people on here jumped ugly with Marissa and deservedly so. If the people invloved would like to speak up that is their perogative but I am not dragging any names in.
There is the synopsis and the rest I will leave to the people involved.
 
Personally I wish they would ban Marissa. It is really uncalled for to use that kind of profanity on a public forum. On a side note, I've never seen anything useful about Marissa's posts since she started posting. While it is amusing to see her get in petty fights with various posters, I'm trying to distance myself from these "soap opera" discussions.

While it is impossible to eliminate grandstanding egos and comments generating from low self-esteem, let's at least try and get back on the topic of billiards and how it can all help us play this game better.

Koop, actually Marissa's word to Barbara was "c---". I'm sure it's the same word you're using but with less letters. I'm not sticking up for her, I'm just trying to ensure accuracy.
