You could still get a 5/16 pin in the sneaky petes when they went to the red veneers? I have had a lot of these (both the green and red veneer cues) and I know the original ones were a 5/16 flat faced joint then went to the uniloc but I have never seen a threaded pin in a red veneer cue...esp a piloted one.

Learn something new everyday. I never realized they started with the red veneer cues then switched to green then back to red. Those original cues were hard to beat. Thanks for posting :thumbup:
Here's one missing from your collection
Nov. 31 1999, ordered this cue from Clawson Cues out of Jacksonville, now more commonly known as Predator Cues. Called up to order this particular cue, but the nice girl on the phone said that the limited editions were all sold out. Had here on the phone for a while, kinda sweet talking her, and she says to me "hold on a second, I remember seeing one of these in the back, do you mind holding".
She finally comes back on the phone, and the tone in her voice does not sound good. She says " We don't have any more in stock, but I have the prototype here if you would be interested in that. It has no number on it"
I told her that would be great, but could you make sure on the sales receipt that it says prototype, no number on butt.
The cue was shipped out red label to Alaska and arrived on Thursday, which just happened to be my birthday. Best present I ever purchased for myself.
Come to find out this is one of the only Predator cues that they put white with brown spec wraps on. Most all other Predator cues will have a dark wrap.
This is the LE VI prototype.

Back when every cut was top grain on this shaft. I think the quality has gone down hill a little with the newer ones.
