Last Saturday's lesson with Scott Lee

I have not posted on AZB very often but after I took a full-day lesson from Scott Lee this past Saturday, I felt compelled to reiterate what many others have said: Scott has to be one of the top instructors in the country and, even more importantly, he is a true gentleman. He arrived at my house at the stroke of nine and, except for lunch, we were at the table for more than eleven hours. His skill in analyzing and articulating stroke issues in a way that is understandable is amazing and he is incredibly patient (an attribute tested in my case). He took me through a wide range of drills, left an invaluable workbook, hours of videotape and then sat and chatted with me and my wife for another hour. Great instructor and great guy. I'll be the first to sign up again next time he is in the area.

Welcome to SPF. You will play better pool. Scott is the best. Let us know how it's going after a few months.

Thanks for the kind words. You were a patient student too, and absorbed the material well. It's what you do now, over the next few weeks that weaves it all together into a manageable routine that you can compete with. I'm looking forward to monitoring your prgress, and certainly to visiting with you again down in Louisville! I very much enjoyed visiting with you and your lovely wife after our lesson finished!

After Louisville I came north to Chicago to do a couple lessons, and today worked all day with a gentleman up near Green Bay WI. Now I'm getting ready to head south again, back to the WARM! LOL Anyone in the SE US who in interested, and ready to work with me can PM me. Perhaps I can work you into my trip back south in the next few days.

Just an update...I worked with Shooter08 and slide13 on a beautiful Diamond table up in Madison WI. Both guys were great students, and I know they'll get a lot out of the information, once they get a chance to really delve into it.

I will be holding one of our 3-day pool schools up in WI over Memorial Day weekend (Sat. 5/23-Mon. 5/25). The school will be held from 8am to 5pm all three days. Anyone wishing to attend can PM me here for more information.

Hey Scott, just wanted to say Hello, saw u yesterday @ crooked cue,

Give me a shout out and lets get together for lunch or shoot a couple of games, would like to go over some pool stuff going on in the area and get an update from whats new with you.

Hope all is well and if you are back in hometown for a while u are enjoying the winter florida weather.

Eleven hours. Wow. Scott is like the energizer bunny. He nevef runs out of energy. Great teacher.

You know it's even more than the 10 or 12 hour endurance lessons. Last night I had posed in a thread on Carpel Tunnel Syndrome about my problems with arthritis in the wrist and a closed bridge. Today he sends me PM about seeing me at SBE and seeking a solution. We've worked in the past on my bum shoulder and bad stroke.

I said it before about some instructors and being in it for the money. They sell you lessons, DVD's, cues, tools, books, whatever. Scott and Randy G. care about pool, their students and did you learn anything.

Thanks Jim...just trying to reach out and help as many poolplayers as I can. See you in about a month at the SBE.
