Collars? Not sure what you mean - perhaps "Collets"?
I haven't tried Chris's, but I'm sure they're well-made like all his stuff. I bought and like these:

I also ordered Joint and Butt collets from him - if you do the same and have a 1.35 spindle hole, you will need to ask him to trim the butt collet down a little so it will fit through.
I guess I should have included that info up front.

I have a set from Brianna that are too thick at the butt end and do not fit so this is an important factor. Luckily, I have a white one (don't know who made it or where I got it) with think wall that fits at the butt cap but barely.
I'd guess it's a bit of PITA to make collets with a thin wall.
