lathe of 27,5 inches?

I recently received a lathe gift, with center distance of 27,5 inches.

I'm evaluating what to do with it because I have enough tools in my store for cuemaking now.

any suggestions? perhaps for forearm tapered, theard shaft tenon....
someone with a lathe with similar distance between centers?

since its too short for full work, you could always use it as a coring lathe? Maybe that and doing ring work and tenon's. Depending on the power it might be better suited for working with steel joints than some other equipment.

You can set it up to just be proprietary to certain jobs. Having the equipment to dedicate one+ job to one machine can be very advantageous, as opposed to do the whole cue on the same lathe. You don't have to interchange and play with anything.
