SOLD.
Here we go again. I just sold one of these great little lathes...it lasted about 10 minutes after I posted it for sale. It wasn't in near as good a working condition as this one. This one here is whats been my personal repair lathe for the past few years. I just got a new lathe so I'm going to find a home for this one. What you see is what you get...really. Its extremely dirty & in well used shape...but this one runs perfect. You can spend some time cleaning it up...but it'll get this dirty again very quickly when used. This one is ready to plug in and start working. Like I said, what you see is what you get...this is a package 3 lathe with both the small chuck & the big one so its plenty capable of handling most any repair or even building sneaky-pete cues. Along with both size chucks it comes with the foot control for doing wraps, the steady rest for working on house cues...this one has an upgrade...the wooden block that holds the steady rest has been replaced with a custom aluminum version. I've had a wooden one break before...no worries about that with this one. The motor is the high power upgrade ($395)...and its been fitted with a reversing switch as well. I'm keeping the small stuff that comes with it such as collars, drivers, taps, etc. Any of the small stuff you may need can be purchased from the fine gentlemen at Unique Products. This sells new for $1600 plus the charge for the high speed motor upgrade. I'm going to price this one for another ultra fast sale. If you've been wanting to do your own tips, repairs, or even build some fancy hustler style cues...this is your machine. Lathe is priced "as is" and comes with everything shown in the pics & the price includes shipping in the USA. Don't snooze... this one won't be available long. The price is way less than 1/2 of a new one & includes shipping.
$800 shipped in the USA.

Good lathe. Had one of these back in the day. Should be a quick sell.

Not to steal a thread, but any idea what a deluxe cue lathe by Hightower will sell for (in good condition). I had someone offer me one.

I've seen the Hightower Deluxe's sell used for $2500 & better.

If its easier for anyone...I'll do $650 shipped...but I'm going to keep the big chuck used for buttcap work. Thats as cheap as you'll ever see one of these lathes.:)

Lunch bump. :)
This is cheap guys...the motor is $395 alone. This one is in perfect working condition. Perfect first step for someone wanting to make their own little sneaky-pete's or even hustler style j/b's. A very well made lathe.
