Do they perform better with your old handle, or is it better to get the entire cue replaced?

you will play worse for a while and then see an improvement after that until you get as good as you were.

Plays they same. Not better. Not worse. You don't need to get a whole cue. Just the shaft you like. [it's an endmass thing].

-> I won a cuetec cue in a raffle and liked the shaft. I got the same shaft for my normal playing butt. They play exactly the same.

Ok I'm on track, my thoughts are rebooted about these type of non-wood-metal shafts.
Two things for sure with my Rhino.
A max, close up draw shot on my 9 ' I could get with my set up, before this shaft about 7' now I'm able to do 10'-11.
Since I rest my chin on the shaft/I found it skinnier at the joint, this allowed me to lower my entire body & improve vision of the shot.
WOW that's changing the putting stance eh ;).

Being 6'6'' that extra inch of shaft helped allot.
The shaft sound was nothing special or non special.
The layered tip the shaft came with I like, felt like a Mori/hard layered, JUST slightly drier/lighter colored leather, but fine. Plays well.
