There are lots of people in here in different leagues as well as it seems people that have their own pool halls. The question I have is there any market for daytime pool leagues? or leagues on friday or saturday nights?
 
In Sioux Falls there is one day league. I think they have a pretty good turn out from people that are retired and night shift people.

No bars around here will allow league on Friday/Saturday because those are their money making nights. The reason they even have league is to draw more people in to the bars during the week, they don't need the help on the weekend.
 
here is what our area offers.....all apa

2 fri night division

1 sat afternoon div...starts at 4;00

2 sun afternoon div....both start at 2;00

these are held at 3 different pool halls though...i guess you can call one of them a pool hall.
 
There is a market for daytime leagues for retired players. The APA franchise in MD has one that played out of Bank Shots in the afternoon.
 
Thanks for the quick responses. I sent the owner of the one only pool hall in my area several text messages today after reading your replies. He indicated there were currently no leagues in my area either during the day or on Friday or Saturday. When I mentioned to him it might promote more business among the retirees and workers he is going to ask around and if there is enough interest he will certainly start one. As of now he has been running a special for unlimited pool for one price during the day to attract players.
