Since joining this forum, I have included the tag line, "Learn from the best, and beat the rest" on my posts...

After spending the last four days with "John Brumback", I can now more appreciate my own line. "King John" is indeed, the best banker on the planet. Moreover, he knows things about the game of banks including unique shot making skills that I never would have figured out on my own. The "Whip Shot" as I call it, is nothing short of pure cueing magic.

I thank "Willebetmore" for turning me on to private lessons from John and I thank King John for sharing with me some of his long guarded secrets. Be assured they will remain safe with me.

Glad to hear it!!! sign up now!!

Hopefully John does go down in history as 1 of the best bankers and all-round players in the world! Next to the knoxville bear (Eddie Taylor ) and The great- Mr.Ronnie Allen. Lessons from John would be a great privilege and an Honor for me! Mark

Well............. I guess since you aren't going to spill the beans, if one wants to learn some of these "SECRETS" of banking, one could set up a lesson with John by contacting him via PM here on this forum where his screen name is JBKY. One might even consider asking John if he would be willing to provide some short lessons at the Derby City Classic in a couple of weeks. :yeah::yeah:

For those reading this thread, John Brumback has already won TWO consecutive bank titles at the Derby City Classic (2009 & 2010) andwill be working on adding a third and consecutive bank title at the DCC in a couple of weeks. (The fact that JB was last year's ALL AROUND CHAMPION at the DCC means he knows how to play all games).

John,

It's great to have you posting on AZ.. I hope you get more bookings for lessons than you know what to do with.. Can't wait for mine! See you at the DCC!

Hey John, a few players in our local pool room has talked about get someone to come in and give a group lesson of 5 on banks and kicking. I for one use to play allot of banks in the 70's but as of the last couple of years I have lost confidence in my banks. I tried to play one pocket to improve on my banks but got frustrated and lost confidence in playing totally. Could you PM me on what the cost per person would be so I could let them know what the cost will be, then I will get back with you and see if we could set something up.
We are located in Sherman, Texas.

Good luck at DCC,
Charlie

JBKY lessons are a good investment. I have ben pocketing a much higher percentage of my banks and I know what cue ball is doing.

Crossside work what you learned and it will payoff forever.

I'd like to see a TAR challenge match between John and Brian Greg. What do you think John, are you up for that? I think it would draw a lot of paying spectators.
