Learning Curve From 314-2 to Z-2 Shaft

I don't play with either but I would imagine it is not that large of a adjustment if you are already used to playing with a LD shaft. You would just have to compensate slightly more, much less than your original transition from a standard maple shaft to a LD. The Z2 is 11.75mm and the 314 2 is 12.75mm, that may be a bigger adjustment if you haven't played with a 11.75mm shaft previously. If you haven't already purchased one, I would recommend the Jacoby Edge Hybrid shaft, most predator players I know that have tried them, love them.

I played better instantly after i switched to Z2 shaft. It is stiffer and much firmer in my opinion with even lower deflection. I use the z2 shaft with my IKON 1-5 and it's da bomb. Very easy to get used to z2 in my opinion

When I switched from a 314 to a Z2 on my SouthWest I instantly started hitting center pocket on a much higher percentage of shots. So there was not much if any at all of a learning curve.
