I am going to take a shot at standard leather wraps. I have Chris Hightower's book and he says to use a black leather dye and liquid shoe polish. Can you guys suggest the brand you use and where to get it?

Thanks in advance.

What are you going to do with those products? You'll ruin many different kinds of leather wraps if you apply either one as a topcoat. Many (not all) leather wraps have a urethane coating and will not absorb a dye or liquid shoe polish topcoat.

I was under the impression it was used to clean up the leather once it is installed, but I really do not know what I am talking about right now. I have about 20 leather blanks on the way and was just rying to be prepared when I recieve the blanks. I am sure I will ruin a few blanks just learning the process. I have watched Lee's video and will recieve Chris's video and leather jig with the blanks. If you have any suggestions they are surely welcome.

Thanks

I use Kiwi's leather shoe polish when done. It comes in a 'hockey puck' container. Its not liquid but more like a thick paste.
