Leather wrap questions

I like the feel and slip of pressed Irish linen wraps.

I have trouble getting comfortable with no wrap cues, except for house cue for breaking.

Re leather wraps...do/will they slip in your grip? Depend on the material?/finish? (are there different 'finishes'?)

Some look fantastic. Just curious to hear from leather wrap fans as to what it is about them that you most like, or dislike.

thanks

ps: Is the handle recess the same for linen and leather finish, to bring the wrap flush with the rest of the butt? Or, are you restricted to one or the other, once the butt is machined to accept either style wrap?

I put a Kangaroo leather wrap on my cue. Soft with a little tack. Nice wrap, but that is just my opinion. Well worth the money.

I haven't seen a leather wrap that will give you that same "slip" as the linen will. If you're looking for the slip feel, you might look at some of the faux leather wraps with glossy finish. I've seen the faux black lizard on a very high end cue that looked quite good and would give you a bit of the slip you said you liked.
