I have never installed leather wrap before but have a few pieces to practice with and probably need a few more. I really cant afford one of the leather jigs so Im off to make some sort of jig myself. How in the heck did the cue makers install leather years ago. Before the jigs. Ive seen some cues that were made in the late 60s and early 70s and the leather looks fine. Sometimes a bit of a seam but they are pretty dam old.
