Very good player. Have'nt heard anything about him in a while. Does anybody have any information on what he's up tp these days?

Helluva player. He's alive and well in the Minneapolis area.

PLEASE DO NOT CONFUSE THIS REPLY WITH MFB - this reply comes from JMB, NOT MFB, we seem to have different VIEWS regarding just about everything involving pool - billiards in the minnesota area. LEE H in MY opinion is as follows , very good for free player, not the BALLS to play for his own, whether he has sufficient funds or not. again MY OPINION ( A GUTLESS WONDER.) JERRY BESSETT

The original post was about the the whereabouts of Lee, not his character or his demeaner.

if a guy doesnt have the money to gamble, which most pool players dont. How can a guy play for money ?? My guess is you didnt do well in the logic part in school lol

Lee has always displayed a tremendous amount of ability. Maybe as much as anyone I have ever seen. Before you roll your eyes and think I havent seen anyone, our current US open champion is my nephew. Lee has won a ton of tournaments in the midwest and the BCA masters 8ball, and has placed as high as 3rd in the Reno 9ball pro trney a few years ago, beating Earl and Buddy along the way. Ive seen him run over Matlock in Lincoln and countless others as well. How do you call him gutless? Because he doesnt have a roll to bet it up? You guys sound like a couple of player haters. Has he wronged you in some way?

he is a great player, no doubt about that. but his attitude needs an adjustment. he has very poor sportsmanship.
 
Sick, ,sick talent. He once told SVB that he has "the 7 for life". LOL, I bet he wishes he never said that.

FWIW the last time Lee and SVB gambled was cheap ($100 a set playing even 9-ball), and Lee finished up 1 set.
 
I just talked with Lee last week. He makes all the little tournaments around the Cities and lays low most of the time. He looked very health.......SPF=randyg
 
Lee was told by his backer to bark at Chad and Shane, it was understood by his backer that Chad had the money. Shane (at the time) didn't have a chance with the 7. Not something Lee's proud of, but we sometimes do things out of desperation. So please don't be a hypocrite cuz i'm sure you have done things in your life that may not have been moraly correct. Judge yourself before you judge others. And considering you probably haven't hung out with him or have even met him for that matter, it shows weak character that you wouldn't take into account the extenuating circumstances involved. the people that make these snap judgements, only judge people in the limelight, the way that they judge themselves.

How in the hell am I judging him? I thought I complimented him pretty well. FYI I have backed Lee multiple times.
 
I have also backed lee (gutless wonder) a few times. HHe reminds me of the DEMOCRATIC PARTY, they are backing another LOSER. yomama
 
This JMB sounds like a real peach lol, man get a life. and Tanco, I wasn't referring to you, I have also backed Lee on many occasions in tournaments and for money matches in St. Louis and he plays hard for the money when he's in stroke.
 
I'm sure glad nobody asked how I'm doing. What a thread- a simple question and the guy gets thrown under the bus. I'm sure Lee could do without all of demeaning remarks. Have you ever heard the old adage

Jerry, do you have this much respect for all the top players in the area, or just Jimmy and Lee, the 2 best? Its no secret Lee had a few issues with his attitude in the past, which in my opinion is the only thing that kept him from being a force on the WORLD stage. From what I have heard lately, he is making positive changes with respect to his outlook on alot of things. Give the guy a break, he is far from a gutless wonder. Gutless wonders are guys who never change, just keep being angry people.

Heuwagon settles down, growing up

Heuwagon has been going to school. Great Idea, he knows all the pool playing in the world won't make him a man. He still loves the game though. There is only one challenger here for him and that is shane. And the other posters here with neg posts are just jealous that he is still capable of beating anyone anytime. and that he's not a hustler type- One of the first times I saw Lee play perfect Pool was against "KID Del--- Danny Bassivich, When it got close in the later sets,his backer left him 400. to play with( mark
