Lee Peppers Hoppe 4

In a moment of stupidity I banged the butt of this cue on a tiled concrete floor and cracked the butt. I was going to send this to Lee Peppers to repair back in the beginning of the summer but got distracted and never did. From some of the postings I'm glad I didn't. I knew this cue would be out of commission for awhile when this got repaired so I grabbed another cue in the meantime. Well, turns out I like the new cue and I am playing pretty well with it so I want to keep it. I am over the need to carry multiple cues.

This is a pretty cue and a good player. I am asking (No longer for sale) (if there was no damage I would look for ***-- price is already reduced to reflect the damage). Here are the details:

Ebony into Birdseye w purple blue green and natural veneers
The butt has a slight wobble when rolled it looks to be where the wrap tucks in at the top of the handle as it sits a little higher than the forearm.
Black and white Blue Mountain linnen wrap.
Flat facejoint with a titanium radial pin.

Butt 29" 16.0oz 19" Balance
Shaft 1 29" 4.0oz 12.5mm LP straight
Shaft 2 29" 4.0oz 12.5mm LP straight

I mainly use one shaft so the other one, while not "new" it is pretty much like new. I have used the 2nd shaft a few times.

Thanks
Bob

Ok- I lowered the price to $350. I thought some of you guys that can do this type of repair would pick it up and turn around and sell it. Anyway, this really is a nice cue and my first bump.

Just about last call before I pack it up and send it off to get repaired. People keep asking for a "better picture of the crack". I really can't get it with my camera. It is an ebony butt so the crack doesn't show up very well. Kind of pointless to see the crack anyway. I am sure the butt will have to be replaced. And yes indeed I am very much aware that the crack "lowers the value". That is why I am offering a $600-650 cue for $350.

You're way to close when you take the pic. Try holding the camera a bit further away and use the zoom to get closer.
Or ideally just snap a high res pic and crop it before posting.
