How do you determine dominant eye in pool?
Don't focus on your thumb; focus on the distant object. You'll see a ghost of your thumb, since your dominant eye will be in line with both your thumb and the distant object, while your non-dominant eye will be seeing past your thumb, directly toward the distant object.
Glad you brought this up.
By chance do you know how one can find their vision center?

I'm also cross dominant (left eye, right hand), one thing I've noticed is that it's hard for me to really get down and put my chin on the cue, it throws off the ergonomics of my arm. Then again, being a little higher up makes it easier for me to see the angle between the pocket line and the line of aim. The effect of the offset is reduced if I don't center myself as well, I tend to put a wee bit of right English on draw shots and left English on follow. Here's left eye dominate.
It's a little known one time N.J. real good player.

Funny you should mention Ralf Soquet.Looks like his dominant eye is in line with his cue...reminds me of Ralph Soquet (sp?).
He could be one of the 10+- % whose vision center is in alignment with his dominant eye.
LOL, wonder where Kieth McCready's vision center is?![]()
