Lemme see those old dufferin conversions fellas

New shop?
Yes. He hasn’t decided if he’s going to set up shop in Jr’s garage or somewhere in town. As you probably know for over 30 years his shop was ether upstairs in the Hard Times in Bellflower before they closed or at the Hard Times in Sacramento. Oscar really treated my uncle well in Sacramento. Im very grateful for that! Al always speaks highly of the Dominguez family. There are no better people. Al and Ernesto go way back many years.

I recommend letting Al use his Valley blanks from the '80s over trying to find a Dufferin flame to convert, especially depending on what weight you want. But member T411 would know better than me.

Oh yes… Al had had privileged “VIP Access“ to oversized rough cut Valley blanks for years. 😉 I have a few stashed away.

Al Romero moved back to LA for the winter and decided to stay. He’ll be setting up shop once he gets his equipment moved back from Sacramento which he’s in the process of doing now.
Is there somewhere online I can see some of his other cues?

Why convert? it works fine as is and the weird joint now is pary of history :)
