So the Friday night calcutta will start at 7:30? Will you be performing the auction, or will we be waiting on an auctioneer to show up?

:cool::cool:

I want to play but there is another tourney out West Saturday early afternoon. Might be over for the auction, and leave an envelope if you or Mike will mail my winnings if applicable from the auction.
Thanks

The guy that drove me back to STL won the tourney, just cannot remember who he beat? I think it was Bissell?

This should be a good tournament.
8 ball game, 9 ball game, coin toss for the 3rd game if needed.

Thanks

For those of you looking up Lenjo's on mapquest do not follow those directions. Get off at the Pocahontas exit, make a right go down about 3 blocks look to your left for a Pocahontas Rd sign, make a left, go down a couple blocks and pull into the parking lot.

For those of you interested in playing in a 9 ball tournament, entry fee is $30 including green fee's there will be a race to 5 double elimination event at Theo's Colonial Inn in Union Missouri starting at NOON on Saturday. $175will be added and only 16 players will be allowed to play. There are currently 8 spots open. If you want to play give them a call or IM me and I will contact the Tournament Director for you.

That is if YOU are NOT on a team for the weekend at Lenjo's.

Get off of Highway 70 at the Pocohontas exit, coming from STL make a right turn, you will encounter a couple stop signs. The road will start to curve you need to keep an eye out for the Pochontas Rd sign, make a quick left on Pocahontas and go down until you see the beer sign.

YOU ARE THERE.

Auction starts in 5 hours, happy hour at the Cue starts at 5.:sorry::sorry:

That is about all I do, except actively look for a new job. I figured that not everyone playing tonight would be on a team this weekend so? Just trying to fill up the fish tank.

Bump to the top. It will be happy hour at the Cue soon, then a nice hour drive to Pockie. Too bad AJ says he is too old to play in back to back tourneys.:sorry:

I got STUCK at the Cue.

Well how much did the calcutta pay?
I would have bought Will Freeman.

Instead me and AJ went to Union Mo, AJ won the winners bracket then Dustin came through the losers side to win the event. Had AJ and Dustin, tourney only allowed 16 players and added $175.

Only paid 3 places and 80 percent went to 1st and 2nd. So we made a decent score.

Cal $630 all money paid back to the players.
3rd place paid 100 bucks, I did not have the 3rd place finisher
Tourny $575 total for top 3 places.:p
1st and 2nd place over $1000 total tourney and auction.

Got me out of the dog house for last nights adventure.

Mark,we had 42 players for the singles tournament

PAYOUT WAS
1ST-370.00 PLUS 300.00-Andy Hauschild
2ND-220.00 plus 180.00-Gary Gwynn

4TH-70.00 PLUS 60.00-Mark Wells
5TH,6TH-40.00-Will Freeman and Curt Timmermann

Not bad for a 25.00 entry fee.I think nobody went for more than 60.00

-19 teams for team tournament
1ST-1000.00 plus 420.00
2ND-540.00 plus 240.00
forgot rest of payout beer tasted to good Saturday night

I would have went with Will, I might have bought Andy if he went for 40 or under? Sounds like a good turnout for the singles and the team tourney.
What was the green fee? For the singles. Beers for Lenny?:p

A lot of good players showed up for the 89 Singles Event... even I was unsure who to buy in the calcutta. The players paid quarters for the games, no greens fee taken out, just $5 for TD.

calcutta experts

hey mark will u ever come to beloit and show us how u can pick the winner. 5000 to 10000 in the calcutta might be worth your drive even if u dont play. but there are no players that go for less than 60.

This was a small tourney I usually buy the blind bid in bigger tournaments for 300-400 bucks.

Last weekend there were no blinds, bought the winner for 170 and got back 330, but I did put the guy in that came in 2nd and had him as well.

I did Mapquest Beloit, I think it is 5.5 hours each way from STL.

Most places I go, the owner sends me the money after the tournament is over, except when I go to Olathe I stay over for all the action.

I will make it to Beloit some time during this year.
