A friend of mine sent me this link of a 9' table made in China identical to a Gold Crown V, he played on one of them and he said spot on with Brunswick, he also said that they are built a lot better than the original GC V, and is all cherry wood with veneers on the top. Has anyone seen this or can shed a little light on it?
I already have a 9' Diamond Pro Am, but I was just curious. I think would be very easy just to swap cushions for the K55 and have the Pro Cut pockets, not bad because with the changes is not even $3,000. Thinking on investing a little $$ with this for resale.

IMO you'd be a fool. No chinese knockoff table is built as well as the Gold Crown and Diamond tables...and no amount of money can make them play like the originals. Most people who are going to spend several thousand dollars on a pool table know that knockoff tables are terrible investments.

Tell your friend he should know a little about how a GC is built before he claims a table built in China is just as well built....you should see the frame on that table....then you'd know theyre.apples and oranges different.
