I had a Bludworth cue about 20 years ago, but I can not recall how it hit, but I believe it was on the stiff side. Probably like Nitti or Josey. I've been contemplating picking up another, but would like a little feedback first. Thanks

14.1'er, Howdy;

I have one from the mid 90's. Flat face joint with brown micarta on both halves.
I kept a Le Pro tips on both shafts until I tried pooldawg8's milkduds. Seems Blud's
cues work better with harder tips.

I felt they hit soft, more like a McDermott. It's a hit I sort of prefer. I never liked the pingy hit of steel joint cues.
" Feel " is kind of a personal thing/attitude/choise/do-wa-ditty, chuckle. I also have a cue with a piloted steel
joint. Like the way it plays too. The Blud's hit is a "bit" (subjective), softer then the steel joint but it appears to work
better with a firmer tip stuck to the end. A bit different but somedays it's the ticket where something else might feel
better the next day.

I've owned 2 Nitti's and 1 josey and neither Nitti hit anything at all like the josey.
I've had a Nitti and a Josey and both were very similar in hit and playability. It's funny how we all fell things differently. Then again no two Josey cues will hit and play exactly the same, and the same goes for Nitti or any cue
