I have a chance to purchase a Lenoard Bloodworth cue. It looks like it has a laminated forearm ( Red and green ) Linen wrap and a 3/8-10 pin. It has a silver dot in the butt section. It also has two shafts.

Does anybody know the year this cue may have been made and an approximate value. The cue is is really great shape.

Thanks for any info :)

If you could post some pics it would help. Lenoard Bludworth AKA blud posts here on AZ. P.M him.

I thought Lernoard had moved and opened a Resturant with his girlfriend a few years ago.

I'll try too PM him, but if anyone knows any info on this cue he made I'd appreciate it. Like maybe when it was made, it has a silver dot in the butt section if that means anything.

According to who? He refused to work on my cue and said his shop wasnt ready....

Just want to know if this ahs changed.

Thanks

I don't think that cue is a Bludworth.

Never seen a laminated wood cue from him...doesn't mean he never built one.

The pin does not look like his modified 3/8x11 (.348x11.5).

The butt should either have the Bludworth red dot (not silver) or the cursive "B" in a circle...also in red.

I'am with you Joe. All the Blud cues I have seen has the red dot.

Here are the examples of Blud's logos (pix are borrowed from Proficient Billiards):

..and here is what his pin looks like...and it is NOT 3/8x10, it is a MODIFIED 3/8x11 (actually 0.348"x11.5tpi)..pix from Proficient:

Bludworth

I bought a Bludworth Sneaky Pete cue. The threads were stripping out in the shaft but it still tightened up at the end. It was an older cue and I really liked the way it played. The shaft was straight, extra tight grained with dark wood.
I emailed Lenard Bludworth and asked if he could fix the threads in the shaft by putting a plug in and rethreading it. I told him that this was a very special shaft for me and that if he couldn’t fix the threads I would rather leave it as it was as it still tightened up at the end.
Lenard answered: “Just send the shaft I know how to fix it Duh…”
He said it would be $40.00 plus return shipping so I sent the shaft with the money and also paid for two light nylon or plastic weight bolts.
I got a shaft back in the mail that was a discard or something with a flat area on the end foot of the shaft and it had a bad wobble. I emailed him and told him it was not my shaft and that it wobbled and had the flat spot. I told him that I wanted my shaft back. He said to return it and he would find my shaft. I returned it and got another crooked shaft back in the mail that looked like a second. I emailed him back and got this answer: “Don’t bother me with this email bull shit. I am way to busy.”
I never got my shaft back or the nylon bolts I paid for and will never have anything to do with him again. I say you cannot trust Lenard Bludworth anyway. You might be better off not finding him. He might tell you anything.
