Lessons from Tom Ross

Anyone know a pool instructor out of Denver named Tom Ross?

I've studied his column a few times and find it mostly incomprehensible. But he has some strong recommedations from good players (Samm Diep, Tom Rossman, Tim (Monk) Miller, etc.) and is locally available.

I've gone to his web site but it's sadly lacking in information. Anybody else?

Tom knows the game and is a great teacher. He owns the small room above the Skylark Lounge on Broadway. I went for his Wednesday clinic before and ended up being the only one and got a free 1 on 1 hour long lesson. I have thought about going back to him for more and would recommend him to others. Show up on a Wednesday and tell him you read his ad in Cuetimes about the free clinic. Good luck.

Lessong from Tom Ross

Took lessons from Tom, Dr Cue and the Monk several years ago over in IL. Clinic lasted one full week. Some of the best money I ever had spent. Would recommend Tom Ross to all my friends.

Tom's free clinics are actually on Thursday nights, from about 7:30-10PM. The clinics typically draw about 5-12 people. After the clinic is over, many players often stay to play for awhile longer.

Tom's an excellent instructor and you'll definitely benefit from taking a lesson from him too.
