Lessons in MD

I finally got my Diamond Pro Table. Now I can practice everyday. I am hoping to get back to playing up to the speed I played at before my 5 years away from the game. Before I get into too many bad habits, I am thinking about getting some lessons. Anyone know of a good instructor in Maryland?

There is a BCA instructor around here named George Hammerback who I heard is pretty good. PM me if you want his number?

We should hit some balls around sometime since we are both MDers.

I wish there was a pool school around here though.

Cory in DC recommended this guy to me, said he was really excellent:

...his name's Doug Sharp. Tell him I sent you. XXX-XXX-XXXX. The main drawback is that he teaches at his house in Olney, MD, in the middle of BFE.

I never called him up (haven't had the time or money for lessons lately), but Cory seems to know what he's talking about, so I believe this guy is good. PM me if you want the actual phone number; I don't feel comfortable just posting it without having his permission.

Pool school would be nice. I am pretty busy the next two weeks but PM me and we can try to play sometime.

I took lessons from Doug Sharp a few years ago. I would recommend him.

I think he lived in Laurel at the time and I liked the private atmosphere.

Doug is a great guy. He was giving some lessons out of his house at a pool hall in Arnold (near Annapolis) early on Saturdays, but I don't know if he still does that or not.
