A few days ago I had the pleasure of taking a short lesson from Grady Matthews. We focused primarily on one pocket and bank pool. He showed me how to make a couple of shots that I had real trouble with up to this point.
Grady has a way of explaining complex shots in a way that even a low level player can pickup on.
Two of the shots I learned more than made up for the price of admission.
Grady also has a fantastic pool Room in Lexington, SC with a pile of those fantastic Diamond tables. The staff is incredibly friendly as well as the patrons. I'd rank this place up there in terms of pool atmosphere with the best rooms in the country. One of my favorite parts of "Grady's" is the wall decor. He has some of the best pool memorabilia I've seen around in his room.
So if you have even a couple of hours and are in the area you should definitely take some time out and get at least an hour or two of lessons with Grady.
