Let’s talk K66 rail options.

I have two older tables that take K66 rails and both need recovering. That said, I always liked the way that Artemis played. I’m now seeing a bunch of different options from all kinds of manufacturers- are any of them any good besides Artemis for 8 and 9 foot tables?

Since there will inevitably be someone to say “use the search feature,” I already did and it was mostly old stuff from years ago debating Diamond vs Artemis. It’s 2025 and time to update if there is anything. New going on that people have had good luck with.

Are you changing the rails on a 2025 table? Old threads and methods are good for old tables. Just because some company used to carry K66 and no longer does, or vice versa is really irrelevant. The profile has not changed over the years.

I think the original post was making the guess that the available K66 cushions might have new technology that wasn't previously available. Or are people still recommending the same material, such as Artemis and Diamond... So, not the profile, but the results. Better action maybe?

I’m just looking to see if any more economical options are out there for rails in general, I’m doing a k-66 table first, and then a K-55. It’s been over a decade since I did any of this, and thought that there might be comparable products on the market. Also, it wouldn’t surprise me if some known products had changed/fell off/outsourced etc and was just wanting to know what the better options are in today’s market.

There's no change in the cushions, except manufacturers and distributors.
