I'm gettin' ready to submit an order to Andy for a jump/break/player...and I'm just wanting to see as many examples as I can of all the work he's done thus far...

Lookin' for the plainer models. SW-style is of special interest, but any model will do. I'm especially lookin' to see what woods he's used in 'em and how those woods contrast with the phenolic (i.e.- at the jump joint in particular)...and I want to see what rings he's used, too...and the lengths on the points...and if he's ever used veneers...

Lol. Guess I really just wanna see all those Gilbert J/Bs!

J, have you seen these in our archives? Long joints, short joints (phenolic), Hoppe rings, SW style bottoms, some with inlays, some with veneers, etc. We've had a few over the years but nothing in stock at present. If you're considering veneers, the price will be a few hundred above normal price for a std J/B, which I believe is still 425. Still the best custom J/B on the market imho.

I ordered a j/b direct from Andy last week. I told him to build me what ever he wanted. Hes a super guy and his cues are top notch.

hay did you decide to go with my suggestion or did you already have that idea?

i don't feel like shrinking the images so i hope nobody minds clicking on the link.

please do. i like showing off my cue. it looks great and plays/jumps and breaks amazing. the cue "tonks" when i hit the ball and massages my hand with it's subtle vibration. all that and one night it made 4 nines on the break in succession. i'm not saying it always makes a ball on the break or anything crazy like that. i'm just saying i couldn't ask for a better j/b cue
