Crawfish,
TOO FUNNY.

At least, with that kind of match up there would not have to be endless discussion about weight. I'm assuming you were willing to play yourself evenup.
I tried to get him to put up a hundred that he couldn't get his player to even put up $5 bucks against me even with the six and the snap. After I showed him my case with my name on it, I bought him a beer. Hey, at least he thought highly enough of me to name drop. I was actually kind of happy about it.

Who is this worldbeater named Crawfish?

Heck, for $5 I'll play anybody in the world, especially if they give me the 6 and the snaps.

If I lose the set, so what? Betcha I'll learn a lot.

I was referring to the story about this fellow who told me that he had a guy that could beat me, and it turned out to be me he was talking about. I tried to get a good laugh and get him to bet that the guy (me) wouldn't even take the six and the break. Funny to me.

Are you in, or do you ever get to Chicago? If you're not adverse to playing a cheap set or two, and wouldn't mind spotting me something reasonable, I'd like to play. I'm not a money player by any means, so if you're a roadie, and live off your earnings, I'm probably not of interest to you. However, if you'd like to match up sometime, please let me know.

I've never been to the "windy city" but I'd love to play some. I've played Cliff with the six and the break, Rudolfo with the seven and the break on the bar table, if that will gauge my speed for you. I work 50-60 hours a week with two children, but I still find time to play three days a week somewhere. In N.C., there is plenty of action for all levels. There might be 64 at a weekly tourney. Coltrain and I used to run around when he was about 17-22. He was my "little cousin" for a while when we went anywhere. I would rate myself farely well in comparison to the crew here in Southeast. I play just good enough to get beat by someone who really scrambles around, and just good enough not to get action from the others without weight. Sometimes I can catch a gear and knock off what I call a "real player." Depends on all of the factors. I did come out ahead in those sets with Cliff, and lost to Rudolfo. That's a rackmaster. If you are ever in the area, I'd play cheap. I'm very easy to find. Stop in most anywhere in Eastern N.C. and ask for the Crawfish.

Thanks Crawfish for the invitation. If I get back to N.C. sometime and my schedule allows, I'll look you up. Sounds to me like you're a genuine world beater, and that's a compliment.

Sorry, you just reminded of almost every guy that say's "I really don't want to play but I'm sure I can find you a guy." I've even once had a guy tell me he knew a guy that was two hours away who could torture me and he knew him quite well. And it turned out he was talking about me. He was calling my phone to come and play me.

I'm going to take you Crawfish in this matchup and will post $5000 with Williebetmore. I will take all bets up until the $5000 is covered. Please let me know when the match takes place. :D
