Levelling GCIII

Gentleman - total newbie here assembling a GCIII in my home in an island where there are no mechanics so I'm on my own. I'll be doing this with the help of friend who has experience doing this on his own table (a few times). It is on a concrete floor, no carpet. We do have a starrett level to use. I have a few questions and would really appreciate some input:

- I level the frame with the legs (done)
- Put slates on and level with shims (at that stage now using RKC method)
- After slates are leveled, crazy glue dowels and bondo (any opinions on the crazy glue method to keep slates from separating?)
- Install cloth (Simonis 760)
- Assemble and install rails ***
***My big question lies here; I saw a vid where a mechanic said when you put the weight of the rails on the table it will throw the level of the slate off and it has to be leveled again when fully assembled. Is this accurate? Then I can't use the shims at this point and have to use the legs to get the table level AGAIN?***
- Then play pool...

Much thanks for any input on this.

Gold Crowns don't bolt the rails though the slate and frame, so it's not really a concern on your table. So, level the slates and finish putting the table together. Anytime a table frame/slate/rails are all tied together, then yes you should double level the slates.
