Sad to hear of Lewis passing. He will be missed for sure

One of the great Pool Men of my generation! We ran many of the same roads and our paths crossed many times. He lived, ate and breathed Pool all his life. One of the best tournament directors around, Butch ran it fast and fair! A great guy, always fun to be around and a damn good player who never bragged about his game.
If you ever got him on the table you had your hands full! We played once over thirty years ago, a little $20 One Pocket in Vegas. I was playing good but he was a bull dog and kept right on shooting back at me. We battled to a draw and never played again. I regret that because he was a great guy to play with. Never said boo, just got up there and shot pool, LIKE A MAN! He'd even smile and tell you "good shot" when you hit one good, and he was sincere.
