hi, I'm looking for Low deflection shaft. 3/8x10 joint. black collar. prefarably double silver ring or single ring. i would be interested in OB & Predator & Mezz even Musashi. i'm not too familiar with Tiger products, and i do not like mcdermott I-series.

Hi, any interest in a purple heart shaft. I sell a lot of them. very solid, low deflection. I have one with a black collar for $160 shipped. I also have a superior shaft for $275 shipped. Rod.

Not too many production cues come with a dub rings . i have a tiger x shaft with a silver ring this shaft is new 160 shipped.

purpleheart is a dense wood, how does it have low deflection qualities? i always thought LD is when the tip end of the shaft is light.

I do not know much abt tiger shaft. so i'm kinda reserved over purchasing one.
 
The purple heart shafts that I have, are parabolic tapered, designed by David kersenbrock for a stiff hit and for low deflection. I'm not sure about the weight of the tip making the difference. If you buy one, and aren't happy, just pay shipping back. Have fun.:thumbup: Rod.

Care to explain what's wrong with the I series?
 
Rod, let me look ard abit more before making my decision. But exactly how low is the deflection? As low as the z2? Or like the 3142?

I-series, I used to have the I-2, I dun find the deflection low enough. And it feels whippy.

I hate whippy. Did I say I hate whippy.LOL. I'll check out the 3/8 10 and let you my opinion. Rod.
 
I think u can try customise.......u can ask Leecustomcues, he made me a shaft with Mason micarta ferrule last year, I play 14/1 with my mate had 40 for a turn, lol
 
thanks guys. i had some offer, some are over my budget. looking for more offers. i guess i can give up on Mezz shaft, because mezz factory only produce United aka 5/16x14 and wavy joint. so Predator, OB, Musashi and Tiger! show me what u got and ur best offer!
 
I checked out the only 3/8 10 shaft I have right now. I'm getting more soon. It has less deflection than the 314 I have here. No whip at all. It also has a slight warp to it. Not enough to effect play. Yours for $90 shipped. Rod.
 
I can make you a shaft $150 shipped or you can spend more . Need to know the spacing on the rings and the other specs you want . Use a caliper and get as close as you can . Can ship within 3 days after receiving payment as I have some shafts ready for rings and ferrules ...:eek::cool:
