How about an interlocked JP with the P above the J. Sure translates better than Libra or Jackpot.

That would look just like the old Pechauer logo.

Jp would be exactly like those crappy Jp Pechauer cues, one of my most disliked logo's on a pool cue.

What is wrong with the Libra name?
Libra cues are highly sought after, a change in name would be a real disservice to all the people holding Libra cues from years past.
In my opinion the new cues wouldn't be as popular with a different name, and at the same time devalue the existing cues.
Doesn't make sense to change the Libra name.

Jackpot sounds too much like crackpot, Lol. Libra sounds better IMO.

umm, .......

LIBRA

For the British market, POTTER would work well...
...in the UK, a potter is a shot maker

these have all been very helpful and constructive

not one of you asked for pictures
thank you

"JACKPOT" has a allure, however, would only be a tiny niche item in view of zero market penetration because of the stated production volume and what happens when Jack hangs it up?

The "LIBRA" brand was gaining traction when production stopped and had the potential of being a significant player in the custom cue game. The price point, a level or two above comparable McDaniel, Bludworth, etc. was also good for a new brand that only had a handful of "dealers" which is a testament to the quality of the product and the dealers.

If i called the shoots it would be "LIBRA" which, if handled correctly, would still be of value if/when Jack decided to exit stage left.

BTW, i don't need no stinkin pics cause i know what ya'll look like

Where has Adam been hiding the last ten years
Very nice narrative on libra, especially with the Bludworth McDaniel reference.
We rarely get into the ninties cuemaking and collecting stuff, that most people including myself are unaware of what was really going on back then.
The most I see is the nineties style, like floating points, aand lots of ovals.
Seems like many of those cues for whatever reason are stashed away in collections and we never see them.
Wonder if that style will every be sought after again.
